letter from Gary/grandson

when my grandson first moved away from the ATL.he moved to LasVegas(he lives in L.A. now)

But this is his first letter to me from Vegas dated 11-2-01
Grandma,
Thanks for your letter,and for the money that you sent .I really appreciated that.I know you don,t have much I hope that you are doing okay.I think about you often.I wonder if you and Monica are getting along.I think about you and your cash 3 numbers,it always makes me smile.I don,t think I gonna be able to make it home for Christmas.I don,t know yet.I don,t think I will be able to get off on both of my jobs..I am working at Ritz Camera & at this clothing store at Ceasars palace. its alright just money gets kind of tight,but I don,t worry about it too much I just try to put things in Gods hand and let things take care of them self,and I am sorry I did not tell you I was leaving.I just did not think anyone would understand.I did,t even tell my dad I knew that if I told people then I would not want to leave,so I just did it.It was all to much to think about,so now-----all I can do is hope it all works out.I hope that maybe I can come out here,and maybe become something. everyday I try to be better than myself.I felt like that if I stayed home I wasn"t gonna accomplish nothing.So how long I will be out here in the desert? I don"t know? I know its no Atlanta,but then again thats why I came cause it is not Atlanta & I needed that. But it is late and I need to go to bed.I am gonna call as soon as I get some money.I love you,and I hope you write me whenever you feel like it.I always like your poems.so take care.
