Letter from the late Mama Eudell

Jan 24th 1969 Warthen,Ga

Dear Charles
This comes to say that i received your letter sure was glad to hear from you all.Glad to hear that you all are well and doing fine.We all are very well,my back are still hurting me,but the good lord keep me getting about.Sister are not doing to well,she been home every since the 16th of nov.Some days she is ok and some days seem like we will have to take her back to the hospital.One of the twins have been sick this week I had to take him to the doctor twice this week.The Flu is bad down here. Listen Charlie J.C.Cummings was buried last Sunday,he went to the doctor last Friday night and died in the Dr. office,also Snuke Miller is dead he was found dead Monday morning,he lived in Dober Delaware.Cousin Julia pinkston will be buried Sunday she passed last Sunday,also Raymond are making twelve months on the road he been there ever since the first of November.He is at the camp here in Sandersville,thats Washington County work camp,he was caught speeding four times with bad conduct,so thats it.His dad had got him out twice. All the rest of the family are getting along fair Cecil is working with Howard shepperd Co.driving truck.Little cecil are still in college doing fine.All send love and you all be good,and don,t forget to pray,kiss the kids for me.Love to jes bye now.Dad and all the children sends a big Hi.. much love mother Eudell.............
(note the Raymond her grandson who she said was in the work camp was the late poison Iveyand also her son Charles is also deceased..Little Cecil and big Cecil are also deceased)
